A celebration of identity and belonging

Star of Hope continued its annual cultural festival tradition, giving pupils the opportunity to represent a cultural group of their choice. Through dress, presentation and performance, children celebrated the rich heritage within our community.

The event welcomed pupils, staff, parents, local leaders and development partners—helping learners grow in confidence and appreciation for cultures beyond their own.

From 18 pupils to a community of 652 learners

Star of Hope began in 2023 with 18 pupils. By 2026, enrolment had grown to 652 children—281 in nursery and 371 in primary school.

The growth reflects the community’s need for accessible education close to home. The school projects 850 learners by 2027 and is planning additional classes and permanent learning spaces.
